We exist to champion the voice of women in the energy sector

About WIE

The Women in Energy network is a not-for-profit organisation that was launched in Perth in early 2015. WIE has been successful in making an impact and advocating for positive changes for women in the energy industry. We are a subset of the Australian Institute of Energy’s Perth branch. AIE keeps our governance requirements simple, so we can focus on achieving our core objectives.

Our Purpose

Women in Energy exists to champion the voice of women in the energy sector and deliver inspiration on the journey for our future female leaders.
Our purpose drives our bold ambition – To enable women working in the energy sector to achieve ‘whole of life’ success through inspiration, connection and knowledge.
The network has grown significantly and runs a series of highly successful networking sessions, skills-based workshops and panel discussions to improve and champion diversity in the energy sector, particularly in senior leadership.
